I have been so many things – a healer, artist, cosmic explorer, and lover of nature from the start.  And from the first time I crinkled my dad’s toes after he’d been on his feet all day, and traded shoulder rubs with siblings while watching movies, my path as a healer had begun.  I’ve since explored, experienced, and been trained in countless healing modalities and therapies, traditional and alternative.  After leaving the suburbs and my religious upbringing and traveling around following my musical and wild inspirations, I landed in Santa Cruz, CA, studying art, raising my two, beautiful sons, and working for many years as a certified massage therapist.

I studied many forms of healing, working on myself extensively, both personally and professionally, and bringing all I learned to my work with others. Eventually, I fell in love with a light-touch form of chiropractic care, called Network Spinal Analysis and its sister breath work modality, Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). I began working with individuals and groups doing SRI, offering somatic tools for people to learn how to work with the multifaceted ways that life shows up in our bodies.  And I went on to become a chiropractor, specializing in Network and the embodied integration of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of being.  In addition to the energy work inherent to Network and SRI, I became a non-denominational ordained minister and continued my own personal explorations of consciousness, meditation, ceremony, spirituality, earth-based indigenous ways, and multiple forms of Source aligned energy work, connecting with divine and sacred guides and helpers, seen and unseen.

I have also been deeply honored and blessed to be initiated into an earth-based, shamanic, indigenous healing tradition of divination, gifted by, actively connected to, and rooted in the ways of the Dagara people of West Africa.

Life and love are my teachers, and I continue to learn and grow, to play and pray, to do and be all that I am, and to help us in healing and goodness during these times of great change within and without, in living our most authentic, whole, and joyful lives, and in caring for ourselves, one another, and all of our beyond-human relatives with whom we share this beautiful world.

*While I have learned from many teachers and from life itself, I want to gratefully acknowledge that Network Spinal Analysis & Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) are based on the work of Donny Epstein, DC. and that I have learned much sacred energy work from Gitanjali Hemp, Tina Zion, and Raymon Grace. I also deeply appreciate, greatly benefit from, and highly recommend the work of Paul Selig & the Guides.  And I am forever grateful to the Dagara traditions and medicine that inform all of what I do and those who have so graciously shared these traditions for our healing and goodness.
